Sullia : Transport and Muzrai Department Minister Ramalinga Reddy said that priority will be given to the development of C grade temples with the funds of wealthy temples like Sullia Kukke Subrahmanya.
Speaking to journalists in Kukke Subrahmanya on Monday, the minister said that funds are available for the development of A and B grade temples in the respective temples. However, since there is no fund for C grade temples, priority will be given to the development of C grade temples by the wealthy temples. He said that priority will be given to the development of C grade temples by the Kukke temple and development is also underway.
All kinds of development work will be done in the Kukke Subrahmanya Temple. There is a demand for an authority to be established for Kukke Subrahmanya. Since there is a committee now, the authority will not be established for the next three years, he said.
A list of 54 temples in the state has been sent to the Central for Prasad Scheme. The Prasad Scheme is being implemented across the country, of which four temples in the state have received funds. He said that Mysore has received 30 crores, Renuka Yallamma temple 334 crores, and two other temples 15 lakhs.
There is a demand for a well-equipped hospital in Kukke Subrahmanya. If land available in the vicinity of the temple, we will make hospital providing 24-hour health services. I will speak to the Health Minister about this and appointment of doctors, staff for Subrahmanya Hospital.
