Mangaluru : The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) successfully organized a ‘Hindu Rashtra-Jagriti Sabha’ on Sunday at the Kootakkala Auditorium of Kudroli Shri Bhagavathi Kshetra, Kodialbail. The event, aimed at fostering unity among Hindus and establishing a constitutional Hindu Rashtra, commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, the sounding of the conch shell (Shankhanada), and the chanting of Vedic hymns. More than 350 devotees and activists participated in the convention, which was moderated by Sou. Sudha and Sou. Vanajakshi. Dr. Pranav Mallya, the District Coordinator of HJS, introduced the organization’s mission and outlined the objectives of the gathering.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Guruprasad Gowda emphasized that declaring India a constitutional ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is the only viable solution to grave challenges like Love Jihad, forced conversions, demographic imbalance, and the complexities of the Waqf Act. He asserted that just as the Ram Mandir became a reality in Ayodhya, the emergence of a Hindu Rashtra is certain. He called upon the youth to draw inspiration from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s ‘Hindavi Swarajya’ and urged everyone to dedicate at least one hour daily to ‘Dharma Karya’ (religious service), moving beyond mere speeches to active organization regardless of caste or sect.
Sou. Lakshmi Pai of Sanatan Sanstha spoke on the importance of practicing Dharma to build spiritual strength. Quoting ‘Yato Dharmastato Jayah’ (Where there is Dharma, there is Victory), she remarked that being Hindu by birth is not enough; it must reflect in one’s actions. She lamented the blind imitation of Western culture and stressed that every Indian festival and tradition is rooted in scientific spirituality. She urged the audience to seek ‘Dharma Shiksha’ (religious education) to understand the truth behind traditions, asserting that a society that forgets its culture has no future.
Highlighting the legal aspects of the struggle, Advocate Jayaprakash from the Akhil Bharatiya Adhivakta Parishad criticized the modern education system for its lack of cultural values. He stated that protecting Dharma is the duty of every citizen and encouraged Hindus to use the legal framework to question anti-Hindu activities. He stressed that when Dharma is under threat, silence is not an option; rather, organized legal battles and collective voices are the need of the hour to safeguard the interests of the community.
