Mangaluru : A woman was killed on the spot after being struck by a Bolero vehicle while crossing the road at Derlakatte on Saturday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Kamala(58), a native of Kerala.
She was residing in an apartment in Derlakatte with her daughter, Meera works as a doctor at a private hospital in Deralakatte.
The incident occurred when Kamala was crossing the road to return home. The Bolero vehicle hit her, causing fatal injuries. She died at the scene.
Local police visited the spot and registered a case.
