To balance regional and community representations, the party high command is reportedly planning to appoint two Deputy Chief Ministers, with Shri M.B. Patil tipped for Water Resources and Dr. G. Internal party discussions suggest a strategic distribution of heavy-duty administrative portfolios among senior legislators. Sources reveal that veteran leader Shri Ramalinga Reddy is the frontrunner for the Home department, while Shri Krishna Byre Gowda and Shri N.A. Harris are strongly being considered for Revenue and Transport respectively. The crucial education sector is likely to be managed by two distinct heads, with insiders placing Shri B.K. Hariprasad for Primary & Secondary Education and Shri Basavaraj Rayareddy for Higher Education. For social welfare and development sectors, party circles indicate that Smt. Roopa Shashidhar may take charge of Women & Child Development, while Shri Narendra Swamy is projected for Social Welfare.
Key infrastructure, industrial growth, and resource management domains are also being finalized by the party leadership. Highly placed sources state that Dr. Yatindra Siddaramaiah is being favored for Urban Development, whereas Shri K.J. George and Shri Eshwar Khandre are expected to be given the Energy and Forest portfolios respectively. Furthermore, party insiders hint that Shri U.T. Khader is slated to become the Minister for Fisheries & Ports, Shri Priyank Kharge will likely manage Large & Medium Industries, and Shri H.K. Patil is expected to oversee Rural Development & Panchayat Raj. Party leaders emphasize that while these names represent the current consensus among internal committees, the final official decree will be released only after securing ultimate clearance from the high command.
