Bantwal : In a decisive move to maintain public order, the Assistant Commissioner and Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Mangaluru have issued an externment order against Abdul Khader, a resident of Vitla Kasba village in Bantwal taluk. The accused has a documented history of criminal activities, including involvement in cases of physical assault, rioting, and the consumption of prohibited narcotics. Specifically, he faces three separate cases registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, marking him as a repeat offender in the region.
The legal action follows a detailed report submitted by the Station House Officer (SHO) of the Vitla Police Station regarding the individual’s persistent illegal conduct. Exercising the powers vested in them, the authorities have ordered his banishment from the jurisdiction of Dakshina Kannada district to the Mudigere Police Station limits in Chikmagalur district. This administrative measure is intended to curb his influence and prevent further criminal activities within his home district.
Following the formal issuance of the order, the police successfully executed the externment process on January 8th. Abdul Khader was safely escorted and handed over to the Mudigere Police Station in Chikmagalur district. The authorities have emphasized that such stringent measures will continue to be taken against individuals who repeatedly violate the law and pose a threat to the harmony of society.
