Hassan: A landslide has occurred on National Highway 75 due to heavy rains in the Shiradi Ghat part of the district. The police have put up barricades and instructed to use an alternative road.
Due to the landslide, vehicle traffic on the Shiradi Ghat Road has been completely closed, and motorists are facing difficulties as vehicles are standing in the middle of the road.
Landslides have occurred in many places near Maranahalli in Sakleshpur taluk. Soil along with trees and plants is collapsing onto the road. Due to the increase in vehicle traffic due to the weekend, a traffic jam has occurred on the Shiradi Ghat Road.
