Infant Rescued from Well in Konaje: Uncle and Local Youth Hailed as Heroes

Konaje : A one-and-a-half-year-old child who was playing in the courtyard of a house near Mariyammagoli, Belma, in Konaje, accidentally fell into a nearby well on Monday evening. The incident was quickly followed by an act of bravery, as the child’s uncle and a local youth immediately jumped into the well and saved the child’s life.

It is reported that after the child fell into the well near the courtyard, the family members raised an alarm. Hearing this, the child’s uncle, Jeevan, instantly plunged into the well. He was soon joined by local youth Vivek Poojary, who helped rescue the child. The heroic efforts of the uncle and the local youth have been widely praised.
