Nitte : Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management (JKSHIM), Nitte, organized its Students’ Orientation Program to welcome the 28th MBA batch (2025–2027) at the Institute Auditorium.
The program was inaugurated and presided over by Prof. (Dr.) M S Moodithaya, Vice-Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed to be University). In his inaugural address, Dr. Moodithaya emphasized the importance of developing managerial skills, ethical leadership, and global perspectives in today’s competitive business world.
The Guests of Honour included Prof. (Dr.) Gopal Mugeraya, Vice President (Technical Education), Nitte (Deemed to be University); Mr. Kishore Kotian, Vice President, J P Morgan Chase & Co, and JKSHIM Alumnus (Batch of 2004–2006); and Dr. N S Shetty, Professor Emeritus, JKSHIM, Nitte (Deemed to be University). Each of them shared their experiences and insights to inspire the incoming batch.
Dr. Sudhir M, Director of the Institute, extended a warm welcome to all the distinguished guests, students and their parents, as well as the faculty and staff members present at the program.
Dr. Tantri Keerthi Dinesh served as the Master of Ceremony, ensuring a smooth flow of the proceedings. The vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. Karthik Kudroli, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty, staff, and students for making the event a success.
The orientation marked the beginning of the students’ two-year journey towards academic excellence and holistic development at JKSHIM.
