Kadaba : For the first time Kadaba Town Panchayat election, Congress secured a majority by winning 8 out of 13 seats, while BJP won 5 seats.
The vote counting began at 8 am and concluded swiftly by 9:45 am.
In the much-anticipated Kallara ward, Congress candidate Tamanna Zabeen emerged victorious. In the 8th Pijakkal ward, BJP’s Dayananda Gowda P defeated Congress candidate Ashraf Shedigundi. In the Kodibail ward, BJP’s Kusuma won, while in Mooraje ward, Congress candidate Krishnappa secured victory. Congress’ Mohammed Faizal won from Panya ward, while BJP’s Akshata Manimund won from Kodimbala ward.
In Bedraje ward, Congress candidate C.J. Simon won, while in Doddakoppa ward, BJP’s Gunavathi secured victory. Congress’ Mohammed Hanif won from Maleshwara ward, while BJP’s Mohan won from Majjaro ward. In Kadaba ward, Congress candidate Neelavati Shivaram emerged victorious. In Pulikukku ward, Congress’ Krishnappa won, and in Panemajal ward, Congress candidate Rohith Gowda secured victory.
