Mangaluru : A leopard sighting in Mangaluru has caused widespread panic among residents, leading the Forest Department to intensify its efforts to capture the wild cat. In a recent development on Thursday, a dog was accidentally trapped in a cage placed by forest officials near Nagabana in the Kadri Kaibattal Doctor’s Lane area. The cage was set up on Wednesday after the leopard was spotted roaming the locality for two consecutive nights.
