Mangaluru : Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) has achieved a significant global milestone by being named the winner of the 2025 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award for “Best Airport at Arrivals – Globally” by Airports Council International (ACI) World. This prestigious recognition marks the second consecutive year that the airport has secured this distinction, having previously won in 2024. The ASQ awards are considered the gold standard in the aviation industry as they are based entirely on real-time feedback from passengers regarding their arrival experience, including immigration, baggage delivery, and overall terminal cleanliness.
The achievement is particularly noteworthy as MIA is one of only six airports worldwide to be selected in this specific category for 2025. Managed by Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), the airport’s success is attributed to consistent investments in digital initiatives, operational efficiency, and specialized service training. By focusing on passenger-centric infrastructure and maintaining close coordination with government agencies, the airport has managed to ensure smoother transitions and improved turnaround times for inbound travelers.
The official presentation of this global honor will take place at the ASQ Awards Ceremony on September 2, 2026, in Istanbul, Türkiye, during the ACI World’s Airport Experience Summit.
