Mangaluru : Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, founder of the “One World One Family Mission,” announced that an advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computer Science higher education center will commence operations in November at Madiyala village in Bantwal taluk, the birthplace of Loka Seva Vrinda founder Madiyala Narayana Bhat. Speaking at the “Divya Sanje” interactive session in Mangaluru on Saturday, September 12, while responding to questions from prominent businessman Ullaas Kamath, Sadguru stated that student admissions will begin in June 2027. He emphasized that establishing this institute during Madiyala Narayana Bhat’s birth centenary year honors his vision of transforming education, integrating modern technology like AI and Machine Learning into India’s ancient knowledge tradition, grounded in spirituality.
Addressing concerns about technology and faith, Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai explained that ancient Indian sages were essentially scientists and that Goddess Saraswati makes no distinction in knowledge. He stressed that Sanatana Dharma is both ancient and ever-new, welcoming world developments so that underprivileged children receiving free education are not deprived of cutting-edge technology. On the topic of corporate social responsibility, he advocated that social service organizations should hold a rightful claim over CSR funds, similar to governments levying taxes and corporates earning profits. Additionally, he announced plans to establish a 50-bed free hospital in Mangaluru as part of a broader initiative to expand free healthcare and educational institutions across all districts of Karnataka, alongside scaling up the SaiSure nutrition program to reach 5 crore children nationwide.
The event witnessed the conferment of the “Karnataka Parivarthaka Award” upon Dr. M. Mohan Alva, Chairman of Alva’s Education Foundation, Moodbidri, by Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai in recognition of his contributions. Accepting the honor, Dr. Alva invited Sadguru to inaugurate the upcoming Alvas Virasat scheduled from January 7 to 10, while sharing his deeply emotional experiences visiting the Muddenahalli campus and praising its miraculous service model encompassing free healthcare, cattle shelters, and daily nutritional distribution. The program featured Vedic chants by students of Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence, personal reflections shared by MBBS student Gauthami Pai, introductory remarks by Prashanthi Balamandira Trust Chairman Dr. B.N. Narasimhamurthy, and attendance by several dignitaries including MP Kota Srinivas Poojary, former minister Pramod Madhwaraj, former MLC Ganesh Karnik, RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, Karnataka Bank MD Raghavendra Bhat, and CAMPCO President Satish Chandra.
