Mangaluru : Expressing their deep dissatisfaction against the Congress government 40,000 activists and genaral public participated in 399 places in the undivided Dakshina Kannada Udupi district said MLA Dr. Bharat Shetty.
The BJP Mangaluru City North Mandal staged a protest on Monday in front of the Surathkal City Municipality office.
The protestors expressed anger over several issues, including the delay in issuing 9/11 approvals under the 94C title deed scheme, difficulties faced by the public due to the e-Khata system, non-disbursement of old-age pensions and Sandhya Suraksha funds, cancellation of eligible BPL cards, and the refusal to accept applications for new ration cards.
They also accused the state government of failing to allocate any special grants to the Mangaluru City Corporation for the past two years. BJP workers, including MLA Bharath Shetty, actively participated in the protest.
