Manjeshwar: Retired District Deputy Education Officer Dinesh V. (56) has died of dengue fever at a private hospital in Mangaluru.
Dinesh, who was undergoing treatment in Kumbale after developing a high fever on Wednesday evening, was diagnosed with dengue. He was immediately admitted to the intensive care unit of a private hospital in Mangaluru and was being treated.
However, he breathed his last after not responding to treatment on Friday afternoon. Dinesh V. had served as a teacher in government schools in and around Manjeshwar taluk. He had served as Deputy District Education Officer of Manjeshwar for 6-7 years.
He retired from his profession on May 31, 2025 and is survived by his wife, two daughters, a son and a large circle of relatives.
