Belthangady : The SIT has begun excavation work at the 13th location that several bodies were buried in Dharmasthala village, identified by the complainant, following a ground-penetrating radar (GPR) search.
The excavation, using a Hitachi machine, commenced in the afternoon at the site examined with GPR earlier.
The complainant had earlier informed the SIT that several bodies were buried in this area. Now, the authorities have started digging in the presence of the witness.
