Bantwal : All five accused arrested in connection with Abdul Rehman murder case and remanded to police custody.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Deepak (21), from Mundrakodi, Kurniyal village, Pruthviraj (21) and Chinthan (19), from Shivajinagar, Ammunje, Sumith Acharya (27), from Tenkabellur, Raviraj (23), from Badagabellur
The case involves the killing of Abdul Rehman, a resident of Koltammajal, and the assault on Khalandar Shafi at Irakodi in Kurniyal village. The Bantwal rural police have taken custody of the accused to conduct a more detailed probe.
After being produced before the court, they were handed over to police custody.
Authorities are continuing the investigation to uncover possible additional involvement in the crime. Police sources indicate that more individuals may be detained for questioning as the case unfolds.
