Belthangady : A tragic accident occurred on Sunday, November 30, at Kokkada near Puttur, resulting in the death of a young bike rider. The collision involved a motorcycle and a KSRTC bus. The deceased has been identified as Deepak G (24), a resident of Mulbagilu in Kolar district.
Details of the Collision
The accident took place at the Parpikal bridge curve in Nidlle. The motorcycle was traveling from Dharmasthala towards Bengaluru, and it collided with a KSRTC bus that was heading from Subrahmanya towards Dharmasthala.
Cause and Immediate Aftermath
It is understood that the fatal crash occurred while the biker was attempting to overtake a car at the curve. The impact of the collision was severe, leaving the biker critically injured. Although Deepak was immediately rushed to Nelyady Hospital, he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
