Kadaba : A profound tragedy has struck the Renjiladi area under the Kadaba police jurisdiction, where a Class 9 student, Gagan Kumar, ended his own life by hanging at his residence on November 6. The young boy was just 14 years old and was the son of Lakshman Gowda, a local driver residing in Khandiga, Renjiladi.
According to reports, the sequence of events began earlier that day when Gagan’s father visited his school and was informed that his son’s academic performance was concerning. Despite receiving this difficult news, Gagan seemed cheerful upon returning home later that evening and spent time playing before going to his room with his books to reportedly study after having snacks.
The horrifying discovery occurred shortly afterward. After only about ten minutes had passed, his father called out to him but received no reply. Growing instantly worried, the father forcibly entered the room and found Gagan hanging. He immediately brought the boy down and rushed him to the Kadaba government hospital, where medical staff tragically pronounced him brought dead.
Following this devastating incident, Gagan’s father, Lakshman Gowda, lodged a formal complaint. A case has since been registered with the Kadaba police station to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.
