Mangaluru : The Incident and Complaint The Ullal police have successfully cracked a theft case involving an auto-rickshaw stolen from Chota Mangaluru. The complainant, Narendra Kumar, a resident of Chota Mangaluru, had parked his auto-rickshaw on Bhagavathi Road, just outside his house compound, on the night of December 13. When he checked the following morning on December 14, the vehicle was missing. Following the incident, he filed a formal complaint at the Ullal Police Station.
Investigation and Arrest The police officially registered the case on December 19 and launched a detailed investigation to track down the culprit. Based on reliable leads, the Ullal police team apprehended the suspect, identified as Mohammed Shazil (29), a resident of Akkere Kere. Upon his arrest, the police managed to recover and seize the stolen auto-rickshaw from his possession.
