Sullia : A woman who had gone to switch on a water pump died after receiving an electric shock on June 16 at Charwaka near Edamangala in Kadaba taluk.
The deceased is Rekha (35), the wife of Purandara, a resident of Doladi.
It is said that the incident occurred after receiving an electric shock while switching on a water pump. She was immediately taken to the Kadaba Community Health Center. Doctors said that she died on reaching the hospital.
The Kadaba police visited the spot and conducted an investigation.
