Bengaluru : In the Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) IPL celebration tragedy a 19-year-old Chinmayi Shetty, daughter of Hebri Karunakar Shetty and Pooja Shetty from Tippasandra, Bengaluru, passed away during the RCB celebration event held on Wednesday.
Chinmayi was pursuing her bachelor of engineering at Jyoti Engineering College on Kanakapura Road, Bengaluru. A talented student and a passionate Yakshagana learner at ‘Yakshataranga Bengaluru (R)’, she was also an accomplished basketball player.
“The untimely demise of such a bright and promising young talent has left her family, friends, and the Yakshagana community in deep sorrow. May her soul rest in peace. May the Almighty grant strength to her parents and loved ones to bear this profound loss,” said Yakshataranga Bengaluru (R) in a press release.
