Suratkal: The directors’ meeting of the Buntara Sangha (R) Suratkal for the year 2025-27 was held at the Suratkal Buntara Bhavan. The election process of new office bearers was held in the meeting. Senior journalist Bala Jagannath Shetty has been elected as the president.
Praveen P Shetty has been elected as the vice president, Leeladhar Shetty Katla as the general secretary, Ratnakar Shetty Suratkal as the treasurer, Meera Vani Shetty Katipalla as the associate secretary, Pushparaj Shetty Kudumbur as the organizing secretary, Devendra K Shetty has been elected as the cultural secretary, and Pushparaj Shetty has been elected as the sports secretary. Srikanth Shetty Katipalla, Sujeer Shetty Surinje, Girish M Shetty Permude, Pramod Shetty Hosabettu, Sukesh Shetty Chelar, Ramachandra Shetty Kulai, Damodar Shetty Thokur, Padmanabha Shetty Kuttettur, Savita Bhavani Shankar Shetty Bala, Jyothi J Shetty Surathkal were elected as the members of the executive committee.
Ullas Shetty Permude, Diwakar Samani Chelar Guthu performed the duties as the election officers. Lokayya Shetty, immediate past president Sudhakar S Poonja and office bearers were present.
