Mangaluru : Responding to reporters’ questions, Congress leader B.K. Hariprasad clarified his stance on the political speculation surrounding the Chief Minister’s post. “I am not the concerned person to comment on the matter of power sharing,” he stated. “You may ask K.C. Venugopal or party leader Mallikarjun Kharge, who is in Bengaluru, about this.” Hariprasad firmly added, “Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will participate in the program on December 3rd. He will remain the Chief Minister. Therefore, these speculations are unwarranted.”
Hariprasad also provided details regarding the national ‘Vote Theft’ campaign. An event is scheduled to take place at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi on December 14th. The campaign aims to highlight the ways in which the Election Commission allegedly strayed from the correct path during the election process. He noted that 1.4 crore signatures have already been collected in Karnataka, and a total of 5 crore signatures collected from various states across the country will be submitted to the President on the day of the event.
Finally, he announced a significant academic event, stating that the centenary celebration of the historic dialogue between Narayana Guru and Mahatma Gandhi will be held on December 3rd. The event is organized under the auspices of the Sri Narayana Guru Study Chair at Mangalore University.
