Mangaluru : Andhra Pradesh Governor Justice Abdul Nazeer paid an official visit to the Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner’s office, known as ‘Prajasaudha,’ in Mangaluru on Friday. Upon his arrival, he was warmly received by Deputy Commissioner H.V. Darshan. The Governor toured various sections of the newly constructed office complex, taking a keen interest in its modern architectural style and the facilities provided for public administration.
During his visit to the Deputy Commissioner’s chamber, Justice Nazeer spent time observing the historical list of past Deputy Commissioners who have served the district. He expressed high praise for the construction quality and the aesthetic design of the new administrative headquarters. To commemorate his visit, Deputy Commissioner H.V. Darshan honored the Governor by presenting him with a traditional memento designed in the iconic Yakshagana style, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the coastal region.
In light of the high-profile visit, stringent security arrangements and a tight police bandobast were implemented across the ‘Prajasaudha’ premises. The event was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Raju K. and other senior administrative officials. The Governor’s visit highlighted the significance of the new district headquarters as a landmark of local governance and architecture.
