Mangaluru : To commemorate the successful completion of 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance, the Mangaluru North block of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a grand religious service at the historic Kavoor Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple. The special ‘Rangapuja’ ritual was performed to invoke divine blessings for the nation’s continued progress and prosperity under his leadership. A large gathering of party workers and devotees joined the prayers, reflecting the local community’s enthusiasm for the milestone.
Mangaluru City North MLA Dr. Y. Bharath Shetty actively participated in the auspicious ceremony and offered special prayers at the deity’s shrine. Speaking on the occasion, the legislator wished the Prime Minister good health and extended his heartfelt wishes for his future tenure. He emphasized that under the visionary guidance of PM Modi, the country is poised to scale newer heights of global recognition and sustainable domestic development.
The spiritual event was well-attended by several prominent regional leaders and administrative figures of the party. Among those present were Mangaluru North BJP President Rajesh Kottari, along with General Secretaries Randeep Kanchan and Sandeep Pacchanady. They were joined by various block office-bearers, former city corporation councilors, senior party veterans, and a large number of dedicated party workers who collectively prayed for the welfare of the nation.
