Mangaluru : On the occasion of the Quit India Movement anniversary, freedom fighter Mattar Vittal Kini was felicitated on behalf of the Dakshina Kannada district administration on Sunday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner K. Raju visited Kini’s residence in Alake, Mangaluru, where he formally honored the veteran freedom fighter with a shawl and traditional offering of fruits and flowers. Mangaluru Tahsildar Ramesh Babu, Muzrai Tahsildar Kiran, and other government officials were also present during this felicitatory visit.
