Dharmasthala : As part of the 59th Pattabhisheka Vardhanthyutsava celebrations of Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, the Dharmadhikari of Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala, a vibrant fancy dress competition was organized at Dharmasthala. The event captivated the audience with a colorful display of creative costumes and engaging performances by participants across various age groups.
Participants showcased their artistic abilities, creativity, and theatrical talents by bringing a wide variety of characters to life. The lineup featured traditional, mythological, historical, and socially relevant portrayals, making the competition a major highlight of the anniversary celebrations. The event served not only as entertainment but also as a meaningful platform to convey impactful social messages and highlight cultural heritage.
In the Primary School category, Nihira and team bagged the first place, while Avani S. Shetty secured the second spot. Among High School participants, Keerthi and team won first place, followed by Shravya and team in second. In the Women’s division, Kharchu Ugrana and team took the top honor, with Team Prerana coming second. Janardhana and team emerged victorious in the Senior division, followed by the SKDRDP team in second place. Finally, in the Super Senior category, Ranga Shiva and team bagged first prize, while Somerset claimed the second prize.
