Mangaluru : Dr. M.N. Rajendra Kumar, President of Karnataka State Cooperative Marketing Federation and Dakshina Kannada District Central Cooperative Bank, has expressed regret over the removal of K.N. Rajanna from the post of Cooperative Minister, who was a senior leader in the cooperative sector and had created a new stir in the cooperative sector in the state.
‘I have been associated with K.N. Rajanna for about 28 years. He knew the cooperative sector from the grassroots level. He also gave priority to village level cooperative societies. Due to this, the cooperative sector has found a strong foothold in the state. And the cooperative sector had achieved a lot of development. He has responded that his removal from the post has come as a shock to the cooperative sector.
The state still needed his services, who were rendering untiring service in the cooperative sector. His removal from the post of Cooperative Minister has brought regret, said Dr. M.N. Rajendra Kumar.
