Dharmasthala : In a significant visit to the holy town of Dharmasthala on Thursday, former Chief Minister of Karnataka M. Veerappa Moily, accompanied by former state minister Abhayachandra Jain, offered special prayers at the famous Sri Manjunatha Swamy Temple. The veteran political leaders participated in the sacred rituals to seek the divine blessings of the presiding deity.
Following their temple visit, the leaders met with the hereditary administrator (Dharmadhikari) of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, Padma Vibhushan Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade. During this courtesy meeting, Moily and Jain received Heggade’s blessings and engaged in a brief discussion on various matters. Several prominent local Congress party leaders and active party workers accompanied them during this visit.
