Mangaluru : The installation ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of Lions Club Mangaluru Sphoorthi for the year 2026–27 was grandly celebrated at the Lions Ashoka Seva Bhavana in Kadri, Mangaluru. Lions District 317-D First Vice District Governor and Installing Officer Lion Govardhan Shetty MJF administered the oath of office to President Lion Chandrahas Kadri MJF, Secretary Lion Navaneeth B.R., Treasurer Lion Jagadish Achar, along with the executive team and board of directors. During the occasion, seven new members were officially inducted into the Lions organization.
Presided over by the new President Lion Chandrahas Kadri, the event was graced by Second Vice District Governor Lion Venkatesh Hebbar as the chief guest, who congratulated and extended his best wishes to the new leadership team. Region Chairperson Lion Jyothi Chandra, Zone Chairperson Lion Harini Shetty, Immediate Past President Dr. Lion Nithin Acharya, Secretary Lion Navaneeth B.R., and Treasurer Lion Jagadish Achar were present on the dais. Special felicitations were conferred upon PMCC Lion Vasantha Kumar Shetty and Extension Chairperson Lion Manoranjan K.R. As part of the installation program, meaningful community service initiatives were carried out by distributing financial aid to deserving beneficiaries. The event concluded successfully with fellowship and dinner, attended by district leaders, dignitaries, and members from various Lions Clubs across District 317-D.
