Mangaluru : In a heartfelt gesture of social and spiritual responsibility, the popular cultural troupe “Team Pili Ajane Mangaluru” organized a special mass prayer at the historic Kudroli Sri Bhagavathi Temple. The collective prayer was offered seeking timely rainfall, agricultural prosperity across the state, and a swift end to ongoing global conflicts so that peace and harmony can prevail worldwide.
Widely recognized for their vibrant contribution to preserving the rich heritage of Tulunadu through traditional “Pili Nalike” (tiger dance) performances during the grand Mangaluru Dasara celebrations, the troupe turned their focus toward humanity’s welfare by seeking the blessings of the presiding deity. With erratic monsoon patterns causing severe water scarcity in various parts of the region despite it being the rainy season, the group prayed for abundant rains to sustain agriculture. Furthermore, they invoked divine blessings to resolve geopolitical tensions and restore tranquility globally.
The solemn prayer ceremony was attended by key leaders and members of Team Pili Ajane, including Pramod Karkera, Ramesh K. (Chief Advisor of Shakthi Education Trust Mangaluru), Sapna Mohan Amin, Sushma, Harshitha, Pradeep, Abhishek, Harshit, Karthik, and Ranjit. A large number of local devotees also joined the team in chanting prayers and participating in the rituals at the temple.
