Mangaluru : At just 15 years old, Vishnupriya Pai, a student of Alva’s Central School, has emerged as a multifaceted achiever excelling in music, dance, counseling, writing, and youth empowerment. Named and blessed in her childhood by veteran actress Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, she went on to earn the blessings of music legends Dr. S.P. Balasubrahmanyam and K.S. Chithra. Today, she is a recognized classical and devotional singer who has delivered over 100 music performances across Karnataka and leads her own musical troupe, ‘Swara Savari’. She has also established herself in dance, earning numerous awards, and featured in more than 25 classical and devotional music album songs.
Beyond the performing arts, Vishnupriya is an impactful motivational speaker and a certified counseling practitioner. Inspired in her 6th grade by late actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan’s iconic films ‘Aptamitra’ and ‘Aptarakshaka’, she developed a deep interest in mental health and psychology. Over the last four years, she expanded her expertise by completing multiple online certifications through Indian Counseling Services. Notably, during B.S. Yediyurappa’s tenure as Chief Minister, she featured in a ‘Navadurga’ calendar release and was personally commended by him for her soulful patriotic songs.
Vishnupriya’s extraordinary achievements include setting a world record by conducting orientation and motivational sessions for students across 54 schools in Karnataka within just 15 days. Her honors include the prestigious Swami Vivekananda Award, “Compassionate Child of the Year” Award, “Pride of India 2024” award, and credentials as a certified Youth Orienter. On October 1 at 4:00 PM, an event will be held at the V.S. Acharya Stage on the Alva’s Campus to celebrate her ongoing journey and invite the media and public to extend their continued support and blessings.
