Mangaluru : The general body meeting of the Karnataka Nair Service Society (Mangaluru Branch) was successfully held at the S-Cube Center auditorium near KPT in Mangaluru. Following the main proceedings of the general meet, the election for the new executive committee for the 2026-2028 term was conducted. In a show of continued trust, Murali Hosamajalu was re-elected as the President, while V.M. Satheesan secured another term as the General Secretary.
The newly formed core committee includes Ajaykumar as the Treasurer, Vasanti Nair as the Vice President, Manju Ajith as the Joint Secretary, and Ravindranath as the Joint Treasurer. Additionally, Vijayakumar, M.V. Rajan, and A.S. Mohan were appointed as Board Members. The executive committee will also feature Jyothish Kumar, Jayalakshmi Chandramohan, Manikantan, Vinod Raj, Harish Govind, Devaraj, and Vinayan Nair as its active members.
A dedicated women’s wing was also formed during the session to lead upcoming community initiatives. Sujata Nair was elected as the President of the women’s wing, with Sreeja Nambiar taking charge as the Secretary and Gopika Rani as the Treasurer. Supporting them in their roles, Prabha Vijayakumar and Anita Jayachandran were chosen as the Vice President and Joint Secretary, respectively. The entire election process was smoothly overseen by Saji Pillai from the Udupi branch, who served as the election officer, alongside Mohandas from Udupi, who attended as the official observer.
