Belthangady : The investigation into the mysterious human skull case in Dharmasthala village has gained significant momentum with a team of experts from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), Bengaluru, visiting the spot. The FSL officials rushed to the thick forest area of Banglagudde, where they conducted a thorough technical inspection and gathered crucial evidence from the exact location where the skull was discovered. Senior officers from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) accompanied the forensic experts during this vital field operation.
Pradeep Kulal, a key accused who was actively involved in the conspiracy behind planting and uncovering the skull, was brought to the Banglagudde forest by the investigating agencies for spot verification. He accompanied the joint team of FSL and SIT officials to guide them through the dense woods, pointing out the precise spot where he had hidden and subsequently retrieved the skull. Pradeep had previously been spotted prominently in a video that went viral on social media, which captured the nighttime excavation of the skull inside the forest.
In a significant legal development, Pradeep Kulal has officially recorded his confessional statement before the magistrate under Section 183 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS). In this voluntary disclosure made under Section 183 of the BNSS, the accused has reportedly spilled explosive details regarding the entire conspiracy of the skull scandal and the involvement of other individuals. Based on the accused’s confession and the physical and digital evidence collected by the forensic experts, the SIT police have intensified their investigation to uncover the complete truth.
