Shivamogga : The Forest Mobile Squad successfully busted an illegal venison trade network near Nevatur Anekere in Hosanagara taluk of Shivamogga district, arresting two individuals involved in selling deer meat.
The arrested persons have been identified as Ningappa and Ramappa, both residents of Nevatur Anekere.
Acting on reliable intelligence, a team led by Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) Vinayaka K. conducted a raid at the location and seized 35 kg of illegally stored deer meat from the possession of the accused.
