Sullia: A tragic hit-and-run road accident claimed the life of a young man from Sullia early Friday morning near Malavalli, Mysuru. The incident occurred while the victim was traveling on his motorbike from Bengaluru to his hometown.
The deceased has been identified as Deekshith (25), son of Sheshappa Nayak, a resident of Kalttar in Ubaradka Mitthoor village, Sullia. Deekshith was employed at a private company in Bengaluru and was reportedly on his way back home in Kalttar, Kandadka, when the accident took place.
The fatal crash occurred near Malavalli, Mysuru, when an unidentified vehicle struck Deekshith’s motorcycle forcefully. The vehicle involved in the collision did not stop and immediately fled the scene, making it a clear case of a hit-and-run.
Deekshith sustained severe injuries in the impact. Although local residents rushed to his aid and attempted to transport him to a nearby hospital, he tragically succumbed to his injuries en route. The sudden demise of the young man has plunged his family and relatives into deep sorrow. Deekshith is survived by his parents and a large circle of relatives and friends.
