Kundapuru : In a tragic incident on Sunday, October 25, two young girls drowned in the Kadubina Lake located at Hosadu village near Kundapura. The deceased have been identified as members of the Hakki Pikki community residing in the Mullikatte region.
The tragedy occurred when the young girls had gone to the lake to wash clothes and take a bath. Emergency response personnel from the Fire and Rescue Services along with a team from the Gangolli Police Station rushed to the spot to inspect the area and carry out the necessary procedures.
