Ullal : Two medical students sustained injuries after their scooter lost control and crashed into an electric pole near Kinya in Ullal taluk on Monday evening. The impact of the collision was so severe that the electric pole snapped and fell to the ground. The injured individuals have been identified as medical students hailing from Vijayapura and Bagalkot districts.
Both the rider and the pillion passenger were hurt in the accident and were subsequently provided with medical attention. Although the crash caused significant damage to the vehicle and public property, no formal police complaint has been registered regarding the incident so far. Local authorities suspect that a loss of control over the vehicle led to the mishap.
