Mangaluru : The Mangaluru Advocates’ Association organized a farewell and felicitation ceremony for Sri Basavaraju, the Principal District and Sessions Judge of Dakshina Kannada, on the occasion of his superannuation. The event took place at the Conference Hall inside the Mangaluru Bar Association premises, where members of the legal fraternity gathered in large numbers to honor his distinguished judicial career.
The program was presided over by Jagadeesh K. Shenava, President of the Mangaluru Advocates’ Association. Prominent legal dignitaries and office bearers present on the occasion included former Association President Ashok Ariga, Senior Advocate M. P. Noronha, General Secretary Goutham B. P., Treasurer Rekha, and Joint Secretary Ravikumar V., along with several judicial officers, senior advocates, and junior lawyers.
During the event, speakers fondly recalled Judge Basavaraju’s dedicated service to the judiciary and praised his role in fostering a harmonious relationship between the bench and the bar. On behalf of the Mangaluru Advocates’ Association, the office bearers and members extended warm wishes to him for a peaceful, healthy, and prosperous retired life.
