It is said, Madhura had delivered a baby at the Sullia taluk hospital on June 3. As she suffered from excessive bleeding later at night, doctors there recommended to shift her to Ladygoschen Hospital in Mangaluru. She was shifted to the hospital at around 11.30 pm but died later on.
A complaint lodged by the woman’s family has alleged medical negligence as the cause of the death. Sullia police have registered a case of unnatural death.
