Mangaluru : Darshan H V took charge as the new deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district on Wednesday, June 18 evening. Mr. Darshan was the Additional Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, Bengaluru.
Outgoing deputy commissioner Mullai Muhilan M P handed over the charge to his successor during a formal ceremony. Mr. Muhilan was posted as the Inspector General of Registration and Commissioner of Stamps, Bengaluru.
Mullai Muhilan had assumed office as DC of Dakshina Kannada on June 17, 2023.
His transfer comes just as he completes two years in the post. Darshan H V happens to be the 134th deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada.
