MP Brijesh Chowta Condemns Congress Government's Target of Hindu Workers, Calls for B.C. Road Chalo Protest

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada MP and BJP State Secretary Capt. Brijesh Chowta has strongly condemned the Congress-led Karnataka government for attempting to suppress the voice of Hindu activists. He urged the public and party workers to join the ‘B.C. Road Chalo’ protest rally scheduled for Monday in large numbers to demonstrate solidarity and protest against the government’s actions.

In an official press statement, Capt. Chowta alleged that the state government is misusing the police department to target Hindu organizations and prominent leaders of the community simply to appease certain political motives. He noted that since the Congress administration came to power, there has been a systematic and continuous effort to silence local Hindu activists across the region.

He further criticized the government for invoking stringent laws such as the Goonda Act and KOKA against activists, calling it a blatant display of vendetta politics. Capt. Chowta stated that to put an end to this appeasement politics, it has become imperative for the Hindu community to take to the streets in protest, appealing for maximum participation to make the B.C. Road demonstration a success.
