Panambur: A child was injured after being attacked by stray dogs near Shantinagar on the Kuloor-Kavoor road in Panambur. The incident occurred on Friday.
Hearing the child’s screams, residents rushed to the spot and rescued the child. The parents immediately took the child to a hospital for treatment.
Police officials visited the area on Sunday following public complaints.
Locals have expressed serious concern over the growing menace of stray dogs, especially for school-going children. They urged the municipal authorities to take immediate and effective action to address the problem.
