Mangaluru : The KSRTC to introduce non-stop express buses between Puttur and Mangaluru from Monday.

The buses will ply between the KSRTC Bus Stand in Puttur and the State Bank of India Bus Terminus in Mangaluru every hour. Women can travel for free in the buses under the Shakthi scheme.

The travel time between the two destinations will be one hour. Those travelling between the two cities in their own vehicles can henceforth use the public transport as it will be convenient.

The services will be launched at Puttur bus stand at 11 a.m. on Monday.
