Bihar : Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar today hailed the ‘Vote Adhikar Yatra’ that Rahul Gandhi is leading in Bihar as a game changer.
Speaking to reporters at Araria in Bihar, he said, “The whole country is debating the issue of vote theft raised by Rahul Gandhi in Karnataka and Bihar. He is fighting for the rights of common people.”
“I know what has happened in my state. I am proud of Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the rights of the voter. The people of Bihar are seeking change and they are rooting for Mahaghatbandan. The youth are supporting it in a big way and I thank them for that,” he said.
“The guarantee schemes launched by the Mahaghatbandan will help the people and we will keep our promise as always. We have delivered as promised in all the states we have come to power. The Mahaghatbandan lost the previous election by a narrow margin and I am confident that it will win this time. The INDIA bloc will form the government in Bihar this time,” he said.
BJP is doing politics on Dharmasthala
Asked about Dharmasthala, he said, “I have already spoken a lot about this issue. BJP should shut up rather than trying to exploit it politically. BJP is suffering factionalism and hence they are raking up issues like this. They are trying to mask their failures by raising issues like this. We will present the truth before the people.”
