Mangaluru: The November edition of the Hackers of Mangaluru event, known as HMNOV25, has received significant official recognition from the Central Government. Dakshina Kannada MP Capt. Brijesh Chowta announced that the event has been designated as an officially recognized Pre-Summit program for the international India-AI Impact Summit, scheduled to be hosted by the Government of India in February next year.
Significance of the Recognition
This crucial recognition was achieved due to Capt. Chowta’s continuous coordination with the AI India Mission. Capt. Chowta stated that this validation will significantly benefit and boost Mangaluru’s growth, helping it emerge as India’s “Silicon Beach” and one of the nation’s fastest-growing hubs for AI technology innovation. This development is expected to open new avenues for AI innovation in the city and aid in placing Mangaluru on both the national and global map of AI technology.
The HMNOV25 Event Details
The HMNOV25 event is scheduled to be held in Mangaluru city on November 29 and is considered a key initiative for promoting the AI technology sector. The event features a diverse range of activities, including Deep-Tech Seminars, practical workshops, demonstrations of new innovations, interactive sessions with AI professionals and experts, and an AI developers’ meet.
A Global Milestone for Coastal Karnataka
Capt. Chowta emphasized that the Central Government’s recognition of this AI meet as a precursor to the India-AI Impact Summit is a major milestone for Mangaluru, helping it gain global visibility in the AI sector. He concluded that by linking Mangaluru with the global AI conference, this recognition will foster an ecosystem conducive to AI technology development in the coastal region.
