Mangaluru: The Central Arecanut and Cocoa Marketing and Processing Cooperative (CAMPCO) Ltd. is pleased to announce the unanimous election of its new leadership for the five-year term spanning 2025 to 2030. Shri S. R. Satishchandra has been elected as the President, and Shri Padmaraj Pattaje has been elected as the Vice President, securing the positions without contest.
Shri S. R. Satishchandra, who hails from Punacha in Bantwal Taluk, is a highly regarded cooperative leader with more than two and a half decades of experience in the sector. His vast knowledge and service history include a previous tenure as the President of CAMPCO from 2015–2020. He also served as a sitting Director in the immediate past term, earning widespread respect for his decisive leadership in both the cooperative and agricultural fields.
The newly elected Vice President, Shri Padmaraj Pattaje, is an experienced agriculturist from Pattaje–Badiadka, Kasaragod. He has been actively involved in the cooperative movement for many years and served diligently as a Director of CAMPCO for two terms. In addition to his role at CAMPCO, Shri Pattaje currently holds several key positions in various other cooperative institutions.
CAMPCO clarified that these election results will be officially declared only after receiving the requisite approval from the Cooperative Election Authority, Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, New Delhi. The cooperative concluded by expressing its sincere gratitude to all members, growers, and stakeholders for their continued support and cooperation.
