Dharmasthala : As part of the nationwide centenary birth celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the “Sri Sathya Sai Prema Pravahini Ratha” arrived at the holy town of Dharmasthala. This chariot yatra is being organized across the country to disseminate Baba’s core messages of Love, Service, Truth, Righteousness, Peace, and Non-violence to all sections of society. Upon its arrival, devotees welcomed the ratha with immense devotion and spiritual fervor.
Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, the Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, personally received the Prema Pravahini Ratha and lauded the ideals of Bhagawan Sathya Sai Baba. He noted that Baba’s teachings play a pivotal role in nurturing human values and emphasized that the Sathya Sai movement has made significant contributions to strengthening the spirit of service, love, and compassion within society. The event featured an exhibition on Baba’s life and messages, along with devotional songs and spiritual programs that drew a large gathering of devotees seeking blessings.
The ratha yatra continues its journey through various pilgrimage centers and cities across India to raise awareness about human values. Several dignitaries were present during the occasion at Dharmasthala, including Padmanabhan Pai, President of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Karnataka State; A.V. Shetty, Secretary to Dr. Heggade; Anil Kumar, Executive Director of SKDRDP; Dr. Harish Krishnaswamy, Trustee; and temple officials Laxminarayana Rao and Rajendra Das.
