Mangaluru : The Konaje police have issued a lookout notice following the mysterious disappearance of 30-year-old Mohammed Arshad, a resident of a rented house in Kallarakodi, Naringana village. Originally hailing from Kote Gangur in Shivamogga, Arshad had been living in Naringana with his wife while working as a mason. The couple’s daughter currently resides with Arshad’s mother-in-law in Shivamogga, which was the intended destination of his last known journey.
On March 23, Arshad returned home from his masonry work around 4:00 PM and informed his wife of his plan to visit Shivamogga to see their daughter. He departed from the house at approximately 8:00 PM that night, promising to call his wife as soon as he reached his destination. However, concern grew when he failed to make contact by 6:00 AM the following morning, March 24. When his wife attempted to call his mobile phone, she found it switched off.
Following the lack of communication, Arshad’s wife contacted his mother’s residence in Shivamogga, only to learn that he had never arrived there. Realizing he was missing, she approached the Konaje police station to file a formal complaint. The police have since registered the case and launched an investigation to trace his whereabouts, urging the public to provide any information that might lead to finding him.
