Udupi : Udupi witnessed the passing of well-known entrepreneur Inna Uday Shetty (50), who breathed his last at his residence on Friday, April 17, after a brief period of illness. A respected figure in the local business community, he owned and successfully operated a tyre resoling enterprise located in Padubidri. Beyond his professional life, he was deeply involved in community service and had previously served as the president of the Lions Club in Belman, earning him a wide circle of well-wishers and friends across the region.
He is survived by his wife, Reshma Uday Shetty, who serves as the general secretary of the Udupi district BJP, and their daughter. His demise has been mourned by family members, relatives, and many in the political and social spheres who admired his contribution to both local business and civic leadership. The news of his sudden passing has brought a wave of condolences to the grieving family from across the district.
